Book Talk Episode as part of my nomination for Cherry Book Awards Season 4
I was in an interview since A Leaf upon a Book (2022) had been nominated in Cherry Book Awards Season 4 for the category Best Poetry Book. It was lovely talking about my poetry collection, my favourite reads, significance of marketing and inspiration behind my works! And yes, since there were 5 interviews, mine is in the end.
Poetry Showcase at The Blank Page event by ConnecTree
I showcased my work and read poetry from my collection A Leaf upon a Book (Leadstart, 2022) in a virtual event The Blank Page organized by a community on Instagram – ConnecTree. I enjoyed reading poetry and talking about the story behind some of my poems before a group of listeners who appreciated and liked the work that I’m doing.
Live Session (organized by Clips and Pages)
It was euphoric talking about my hometown in a live session organized by Clips and Pages (a literary arts initiative) on the Mentza app as part of their Independence Day celebrations. I spoke about my city, fascinating facts about it, my association with it, its role to play in my poetic journey, etc. I also shared my experience of writing poetry and did a reading of my poem “Diverse Sensations”, a tribute to my Alma Mater, which is also situated in my hometown… Do check out my session.

Open Studio and Community Meet and Greet at The Make Space
I participated in a community meet and greet organized by author Aditi Rao‘s The Make Space, a community of writers and artists where I am also a member. It was nice meeting with fellow writers and talking to them over Zoom. I also recited two poems from my poetry collection A Leaf upon a Book!

So glad for this opportunity. I got to talk about myself, my poetry, my opinions, etc. Very happy that my words got across to my readers/audience. Through such live interviews, my readers would understand my writing better
